Epic poetry, or four demented humanoids lost in the desert and reduced to gibbering wretches? You be the judge. Rhino Records, as purveyors/preservers of all kinds of recordings from throughout time, wanted something to communicate their intent in an unusual way. Co-director M.F. McDowell re-wrote "Ode To A Grecian Urn" the way it should have sounded in the first place, and we headed out to a dry lake bed in the southern California desert.
